Kyle Holm, Partner, Pre-IPO Practice Leader
Kyle Holm has nearly 20 years of compensation consulting experience covering executive, broad-based and Board of Director pay. His work covers all elements of compensation including base salary, annual incentives and long-term incentives. He consults on the design of cash and stock-based compensation programs for a varied range of public and private companies with a focus on high-growth organizations in the technology and life sciences sectors. Additionally, Kyle has significant experience working with family-owned businesses.
Prior to joining Radford, Kyle held a principal position at Hay Group and was a founder of Presidio Pay Advisors, where he was instrumental in developing their pre-IPO offerings.
Kyle has been an instructor for the Northern California Human Resources Association's continuing education program. His work has been published in WorkSpan and he co-authored a chapter on initial public offerings in the recently published Understanding Executive Compensation – A Practical Guide for Decision Makers. He earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Santa Clara University.
Belinda Armenta, Associate PartnerHead of Asset Management, APAC
Belinda leads the Asset Management practice for McLagan across the Asia Pacific region. Our firm’s asset management clients are wide ranging and include both public and private firms across traditional investment, private equity, real estate and hedge funds. Belinda joined McLagan in 2007, and has worked in both our European and Asia Pacific asset management practices, leading our team as well as managing both client relationships and consulting products and services. Since 2011, Belinda has been responsible for the asset management group in the APAC region, which includes delivering our industry pay trends and market intelligence, as well as serving as a relationship manager for large regional clients based in Hong Kong and Singapore.
During her time with McLagan, Belinda has delivered:
- A wide range of consulting assignments including market practice reviews, incentive design, market benchmarking analytics and reward frameworks;
- Proprietary compensation surveys and studies across multiple geographies;
- Market trends and intelligence through leading annual conference forums, roundtable meetings and individual client engagements.
Prior to McLagan, Belinda has extensive experience in the Compensation and Benefits field – including 10 years in various roles within a corporate environment of a financial services firm. This included responsibility for providing compensation advisory services and support for a business unit division, annual remuneration review, managing employee share programs, preparation of Board / Remuneration committee papers and HR compensation reporting.
Belinda holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics and Management Studies) from University of Wollongong Sydney Australia.
Tom Cain, Regional Director, Financial Services & Professions Group
Tom started his insurance career in 1986 as a management liability underwriter. Tom has worked for several different management liability underwriters. The underwriting facilities ranged from a large international player to small specialized underwriter to an industry group captive. Tom was involved in the underwriting of a broad range business and helped develop unique D&O insurance products such as IPO insurance and Floating Excess insurance (FLEX). In 1999, Tom joined Aon in its Boston office and has worked for Aon since. Tom also has a MBA in finance from Rutgers University.
In 2006, Tom relocated to Shanghai lead Aon’s emerging management liability practice in China. After five years of successfully building a team and book of business Tom became a regional director for Aon and has worked in Vietnam, Hong Kong and most recently Singapore.
Tom’s areas of experience include the management of large corporate Directors & Officers Liability with a particular focus on US exposures and IPO’s, Professional Liability, Crime and related financial risk insurance solutions.
