The Professional Development Committee (PD committee) seeks to identify key areas for continued professional development of our members. In partnership with our member firms and external industry bodies, we organize trainings, courses and events curated for the private capital community. Some key initiatives include:
- SVCA’s bi-annual conference bringing together all members of the community to exchange knowledge, ideas, thoughts and providing an exclusive forum for industry wide networking
- Foundational courses such as Fundamentals in PE/VC, Masterclass in negotiating PE/VC termsheets
- Knowledge events on fundraising, tax and legal diligences and industry trends amongst others
